Apprenticeships are employment led programmes designed for young people aged 16-24. An Advanced Apprentice in Accountancy is likely to have a role title such as Accounts Supervisor, Accounts Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk or Finance Assistant. Whilst the title is not vastly important the demonstration of a commitment to learn is, developing accountancy understanding and skills along with good communication, both verbal and written, accuracy with numbers and the good use of ICT. As part of your Advanced Apprenticeship you will come to the College for off the job training to develop your practical skills and to learn the underpinning knowledge.
