his course is ideal for anyone looking to gain a level 2 qualification in English. This is one of the qualifications you will need for entry to level 3 courses and for a course at university. As a nationally recognised qualification, it is also required by most employers. This course will cover the four key skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening. You will study a range of texts, both fiction and non-fiction. You will need to bring pen and paper. Additional course materials will also be provided by the teacher for the purpose of study in class. You will be expected to participate in class discussion, keep up to date with written work (including note taking and drafts of coursework). You will also be expected to spend time between classes preparing for the following week by reading and essay writing.
