Who is it for? For all learners interested in drawing techniques regardless of experience. What will I learn? During this course, learners will explore the use of drawing techniques for composition and applied artwork projects. Participation is focused around a series of 1-3 week projects set by the tutor and includes demonstrations and one to one guidance. The drawing sessions are designed to build your confidence and understanding. Tuition includes measuring systems and mark making techniques for the interpretation of shape and form, using pencil, graphite, charcoal and pastels What will I produce: During the course you will produce a series of works which explore applied drawing techniques. These may be presented as finished work or be used inspire new personal explorations If you need more information or advice, please call us on 01572 758122 or email adultlearning@rutland.gov.uk What should I bring? Good quality cartridge paper at least A3. Drawing tools – pencils charcoal, fixative spray, putty rubber, plastic eraser, fine black pens.
