This course leads to supervised employment in day nurseries, playgroups and crèches. It can also provide entry to the Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People?s Workforce or to an NVQ. You will study the physical care and development of children including their social and emotional needs. In addition you will plan learning and play activities to meet the needs of children. Two days each week are spent in day nurseries or schools developing the practical skills needed to work with children. We welcome both male and female students for this course.
