This work-based qualification is aimed at learners who are working, or want to work, in roles such as civil engineering technician, concreter or construction operative. Learners have a choice of 8 pathways, including modular pavement construction, structural concreting and general building operations. This Qualification is designed for operators within the industry of highways/construction and encompasses SQA certificates the full SWQR cards for operatives and/or supervisors and can include construction plant equipment training. It can be delivered as a NVQ or Apprenticeship programme.
