The NCFE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce is designed to qualify new practitioners for registration and regulatory requirements within the childcare sector. The Diploma is also for anyone who is already working in the Early Years sector and needs a higher qualification for regulatory requirements. By the end of your course you will have a solid understanding of the skills required by child carers, along with a good knowledge of early education frameworks and the legislative context in which child carers operate This course is ideal for all students wishing to work within a Nursery or similar Child Minding environment and is designed to give you the skills to work as an Early Years Practitioner. The course confirms your relevant competence in Early Learning & Childcare, Social Care & Learning Development and Support Services. It will provide you with a ‘licence to practice’ in a unsupervised capacity in a Children’s Centre, Private Nursery or Foundation Stage Unit in a school environment. This Level 3 course is awarded by NCFE and supported by the Children’s Workforce Development Council.
