On the Level 2 Access to Further Education course you will study Psychology, Sociology, Maths and English. You will learn how to produce essays, reports, presentations and evidence about various areas of psychology and sociology. The course will also equip you with the study and computer skills to complete assignments as well as gaining employability skills. You will create a CV and research possible future areas of work. You will gain skills in team work, communication and time management. You will study Functional Skills English and Maths as part of the course. The Functional Skills English will help you to organise your writing and improve your spelling, grammar and punctuation. You will study units in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. The Functional Skills Maths course will help you to understand and use numbers of any size, calculate ratio and proportion and understand how to use scale drawings including maps. You will learn how to calculate using fractions, decimals and percentages and understand and use basic algebra. You will learn how to solve problems involving shape and space and you will also learn how to use and understand metric measures. Your tutors will give you all the support you need to complete your course and achieve your goals.
