Do you have a good head for business and a way with numbers? Running a business involves a lot of financial activities, from expenses and bills to taxes and payroll. Accountants keep track of all of these and more to make sure that businesses £ both large and small £ manage their money properly. This qualification builds upon, and further develops, the knowledge and skills gained on the Accountancy (AAT) Intermediate Apprenticeship. Topics you will cover include preparation of final accounts for the sole trader and partnership, costing and revenue statements, professional ethics, indirect tax and spreadsheets. You could progress straight into job roles such as a Trainee Accounting Technician or Assistant Accountant or onto further study in a subject related to accounting, banking, insurance, or other financial services.
