This course gives you a great introduction to a wide range of music related subjects. You study units that develop practical music technology skills, production techniques and knowledge of the music industry. You also look at areas such as exploring musical composition, exploring computer systems used by musicians, producing a musical recording, exploring an area of music, sound effects and integration. All students study a range of specialist units to develop skills in specific areas of music technology. You get the chance to gain experience of work at a local festival and perform at a variety of places including ceremonies and end of term events.
