This practical gardening course is ideal whether you are new to gardening, wanting a career change or interested in building on your current knowledge. Develop the basic skills you need to work as a gardener and make your own garden look stunning. You cover the following topics: Planning your spring garden, compost and compost making, friends and foes in the garden. Digging your soil, testing your soil, how to fertilise your garden. Planting out techniques and plant maintenance. Plant propagation including taking cuttings and division of herbaceous perennials. Cropping and harvesting both flowers and vegetables.
