This course is perfect for people looking for a career change or for existing gardeners looking for a recognised qualification, or to increase their confidence in growing plants. You will gain the knowledge to select healthy plants and the skills to maintain them including feeding and pruning. You will have the opportunity to increase plant numbers by learning a wide range of propagation techniques and practising your growing skills. Assessment is through practical observation and assignment. On successful completion of this course, students may wish to progress onto the Horticulture BTEC Level 2 Diploma.
