This course is intended as an introduction to caring for and working with children and adults. The course allows you to gain basic knowledge and understanding of the care sector, including children and adults' physical and emotional needs; keeping them safe; communications skills; creative activities and eating healthily. This course is suitable for 16-19 year olds or adult returners, who are interested in working with children and adults and can demonstrate their enthusiasm and commitment to the programme. Work experience will be included for suitable candidates.
