To understand and follow the annual planting cycle. Participate in activities to improve the soil structure and enrich the soil. To participate in group and individual crop watering and weeding plans. Indentify a range of weeds and understand what time of day and how much to water crops. Explore crop maintenance, pest control through crop rotation, companion planting and other control methods. Participate in crop thinning and planting out at appropriate spacing to maximise the crop yields.
