This apprenticeship includes the Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching & Learning in Schools L3, delivered alongside English, Mathematics & ICT Functional Skills, Employment Rights & Responsibilities' (ERR) & Personal Learning Thinking Skills (PLTS). The Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship is applicable for learning support staff whose role requires competence across a range of responsibilities.The framework provides training for the roles of teaching, classroom and learning support assistant; special needs assistant; behaviour support assistant/coordinator; pastoral/welfare assistant; foundation stage assistant and team leader.
