Develop your jewellery making skills and learn new techniques.For those with some experience of jewellery making. This course is aimed at intermediate and advanced students who have a basic knowledge of jewellery making. E.g. Jewellery taster course, one term of Jewellery course etc. Course is not for complete beginners. Students can enjoy a term of jewellery making, extend their skills and explore new techniques. The course can also be used to produce a 'more complicated' piece or to undertake an in depth exploration of a specific technique. WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER ------------------------------------------------------------------ Students can develop existing skills and techniques through their own projects. They will be encouraged to try new jewellery techniques, for example, stone-setting, soldering and cuttlefish-casting. Students should come with an idea or design of the piece they wish to make. Students should be able to produce one or more finished piece of jewellery, depending on the undertaken project. Students have the opportunity to try different techniques, improve existing skills and acquire new ones. Be able to design and plan all the necessary steps to make a basic piece of jewellery.
