The L2 certificate is a natural progression from the L1 Award in preparing to work in the audult social care sector. Learners who are interested in or new to the sector will expand their knowledge and skills while still looking for working in the sector. there are 9 mandatory units required to complete the certificate. Students will attend college for 1 day per week and have the use of the virtual learning environment to access resources and complete an on-line task. Students who do not have IT skills may be given resources and hand-outs to achieve the task.
