The BTEC introduces learners who want to work in transporting and moving goods within the logistics sector to the required knowledge. It gives learners the opportunity to: * develop knowledge related to the planning and use of goods vehicles in the logistics sector * learn about health, safety and security, regulatory requirements, communication, route planning, pre/post journey vehicle checks and monitoring the vehicle and load during transportation * be introduced to topics covered in the Initial Driver CPC, for example, vehicle security, vehicle checks and physical and mental well being
