This will provide you with a holistic profile to prevent and manage injuries in sport and active leisure. You will also develop knowledge and understanding of anatomy and physiology, nutrition and sports injuries and their rehabilitation to support your practical skills. This includes: Sports Massage Anatomy, Physiology & Nutrition for Sport Therapies Sports Injuries & Management of Illness Field-Based Fitness Testing for Sport & Exercise Taping & Strapping HSE Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate Customer Service & Employment Rights Customer care and employment awareness are also covered to prepare you for employment. Uniform is black tracksuit bottoms, a College polo shirt (approx fifteen pounds) and white trainers. A useful course book is 'Hands on Sports Therapy' by Keith Ward.
