Access courses are primarily designed for people who are returning to education after a gap in their studies, who wish to enter higher education courses and do not have the necessary qualifications. Designed to facilitate entry into various branches of the nursing profession, this programme includes the study of Human Biology, Psychology and Sociology as the main subject areas. With excellent support from your tutors, this credit-based qualification can lead to a diverse career within the nursing field or to a range of health-related Higher Education programmes. You will study at college for two days a week, and will need to allocate additional time for study.
