Selling is the lifeblood of most organisations. If unable to sell their products or services, companies can easily go out of business. They therefore make sure they recruit promising trainees, give them the best opportunities and hold their good sales people in high esteem. As an Apprentice you could find yourself working in a range of sectors, for example, a sales advisor in a retail store environment, or a membership advisor in a health and fitness club. The course consists of a mixture of practical work and theory. You will study the underpinning knowledge of the sales and selling techniques and also demonstrate your competence at work. If required, English and Maths will be studied to Level 1. The topics include the sales environment, sales techniques, understanding legal, regulatory and ethics requirements and students own performance at work. The course has a flexible delivery model and can be delivered at a time and place to suit the both you and your organisation. There is access to experienced tutors and assessors at all times along with the benefit of having peers to support each other. There is an emphasis on the use of ICT to collect evidence and communicate with tutors.
