This course will cover theory and practical exercises via assignments and you will spend much of your time working on assignments in a realistic environment to prepare you for the Business Industry. You will develop the skills you need for future employment or Higher Education. To achieve the Extended Diploma you will study 18 units in total which will be made up as follows: 4 Core Units: - The Business Environment - Business Resources - Introduction to Marketing - Business Communication 12 optional units covering the following subject areas:- - Accounts - Retail - Marketing - Human Resources - Law A variety of trips, visits and work placements are organised during the programme of study in a business environment and you will also complete an "Apprentice" style activity.
Name: BTEC Extended Diploma in Business - Level 3 Qualification title: - Qualification type: Assessment To achieve the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business (equivalent to 3 A Levels), you will study 18 units in total and to achieve the Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business (equivalent to 2 A levels) you will study 12 units in total. You will be assessed by coursework. There are no examinations. Whilst taking one of our full-time courses you will also complete a programme of Functional Skills which could comprise of a combination of English, Math and ICT.
