The Science Technician Apprenticeship develops the necessary skills to lead a technician to advance their careers from junior to senior technician roles. The Science Technician Apprenticeships are for people currently working or seeking to gain employment as a technician in the science industries. The Apprenticeship is designed to develop the necessary skills that will lead a technician to advance their careers from junior to more senior technician roles. The Higher Level Apprenticeship consists of a higher education qualification such as a foundation degree, combined with workplace practice and where appropriate numeracy, literacy and ICT skills. It is designed specifically for established technicians who are looking for an alternative to a traditional degree programme.
