This course is for people who are creative, motivated, visually aware, and keen to pursue education and a career in art and/or design. For young people aged 16-18 who want to develop creative skills and train for employment or go on to higher education in art and design. This course will give you experience in different Art and Design disciplines, Each term you will work on a number of assignments and exhibit your practical work around the College with an End of Year Final Exhibition.Day to day, you will engage in practical workshops, lectures, debates, gallery visits and independent research. You will learn new skills and develop experience in a number of specialist techniques and approaches. You will develop your creative vpotential while improving your understanding of visual language.
