Providing an insight into the history and current practice in photography as a fine art. Experimenting with a variety of techniques to transform the image including the use of Photoshop. Developing your critical faculties and capacity to rationalize your output. Young people aged 16-18. AS /A2 LevelThe emphasis on this course is on developing a sense of what makes an effective image and understanding the historical development of the photograph, and its impact on society and our understanding of ourselves. You will need to be able to research and write coherent analyses and demonstrate consideration and imagination in your own work.
