This course will look at the effects of the use of different drugs, gain an understanding of the harm caused by substance misuse, give up to date information at a basic level of the substances and how they are misused and identfy the assumptions and steriotypes associated with substance misuse Students that are interested in substance abuse or may come across people who abuse within their work. students will cover:-Learning about the effects of different drugsUnderstanding the harm caused by substance misuse Gaining an accurate and up to date knowledge at a basic level of substances and how they are misusedIdentifying the assumptions and stereotypes associated with substance misue assessment is via a portfolio of written work which is assessed externally by the awarding body
