The new suite of assessor qualifications replace the old A1 assessor award. The new suite is flexible and enables the learner to take the units required depending upon their assessor role. The units are detailed below along with guidance about the units that you would need for your individual role. Name: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement Level 3 Qualification title: Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment This qualification is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the workplace (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment). You will be required to present a portfolio of work based evidence that will be generated by a combination of methods that could include observations, work products, witness testimonies, personal statements, discussions and questioning and the accreditation of prior achievement.
