The IT User Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to develop excellent IT user skills that will give a good foundation for any type of role that includes dealing with computers in any type of industry. You will be employed and have regular day release to build your portfolio and access tutor support. Your work will include a range of IT user activities which will enable you to select units relevant to your role, for example, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, creating a web page, prearing a presentation to name a few. A person with good IT skills is essential in most business. IT is an increasingly important area, and whatever role you take you will be part of a fast-moving, ever-changing sector.
