You would learn a vast range of skills from the Painting and Decorating trade, from how to wallpaper and paint with gloss and emulsion to varnishing both inside and out. Through expert training on materials such as oil and water-based paints, you would learn what the best solution is for each job and how to create the ‘wow’ factor. You would learn how to impress clients and brightenup their lives by creating the liveable and workable spaces that they have dreamed of. In addition to practical activity, you would acquire knowledge through theory sessions relating to your chosen craft. You would also be given the opportunity to improve your maths and English skills. We can also help you to prepare for the world of work through relevant employability support and work experience.
