This programme is delivered in two parts. The first part instils a broad base of knowledge of manufacturing engineering. This is taught to students in four core units, which include business, communication and mathematics geared specifically for technicians. The second part of the programme is where students choose specific units in which to specialise. These units are chosen according to which area of manufacturing engineering you want to progress to, or which job you are currently in. These optional, specialist units include specific topics such as engineering drawing for technicians, industrial robot technology, liquid metal processing and more.
