Have you always had an interest in or enjoyed Acting? Do you want to develop your skills and experience further? Are you interested in furthering your qualification profile, with a view to progressing to a higher level course of study? If so, the BTEC Level 2 First Diploma in Acting is the course for you! This course is a practical, performance-related course that will give you an insight into the career of an Actor. Study will combine both practical and theoretical subjects helping you to develop your technique, performance skills and your knowledge of Acting from the perspective of a creative performer and active audience member. This course is an excellent ‘stepping stone’, to develop basic Acting skills in order to progress onto the BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Acting; ideal for students without a GCSE in Drama who wish to study Acting at a higher level.
