The course will concentrate on the main areas of game design, game production and testing, publishing, and marketing and will provide you with practical experience of the roles and responsibilities required to make a successful independent game development team. The casual game market is a rapidly developing, fast growing industry and has expanded enormously, helped by the increasing number and power of mobile devices and integration with next generation consoles. Casual games platforms, new funding models, new development tools, and an ever-expanding marketplace means there is huge potential for students wishing to set up as independent games developers or take the next steps towards pursuing employment within the games industry.
