In addition to the Certificate units students may have direct entry to the diploma subject to their job role and experience or you may top up to a Diploma for which you will need to do at least 4 Optional units which will be selected in consultation with your assessors. (There is a charge for this - see Diploma.) Maths- English and IT will be an important part of your course. You will continue to develop these skills and may work towards a qualification at an appropriate level.

To enrol on the course you will need to arrange a placement for two days a week working directly in the classroom with a teacher supervising you.
