Validated by and delivered on behalf of Kingston University, this course is ideal if you are interested in using sports analysis to become an effective coach. It covers the scientific foundation of sports performance, giving you the opportunity to explore a range of performance-related subjects including coaching practice, exercise physiology, biomechanics, notational analysis and sports psychology. Kingston University was ranked 10th in the Guardian University Guide league table for sport and exercise sciences in 2012. Although the course will not provide professional coaching qualifications, it provides the scientific knowledge to achieve qualification up to United Kingdom Coaching Certificate (UKCC) Level 3/4 and you will have the opportunity to develop practical coaching skills.
