The aim of EDI Level 3 Certificate in ICT Systems and Principles is to meet the underpinning knowledge and understanding requirements in IT Network, Telecommunications and Systems and Data Security. It has been designed for individuals who already possess ‘intermediate’ knowledge and understanding of ICT Systems and Principles and is suitable for those working within the IT Professional Sector. It also constitutes the knowledge element of the Advanced Apprenticeship for IT, Software, Web and Telecoms Professionals. The corresponding competency qualification is the EDI Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence (PROCOM). The main areas covered ar Network Principles, Security of ICT systems, Telecoms principles. Learning is delivered through a mixture of online modules, group work and 1 to 1 coaching. To complete this programme learners will have to sit 3 multiple choice papers.
