GCE A2 Level English Literature AQA

English Literature will appeal to students who have a passion for reading a variety of texts and discussing them in detail. Genres might include tragedy, comedy, Shakespeare and other pre-1900 work, crime writing, political writing, post-2000 prose text, poetry and the Critical Anthology. This course develops reading and analytical skills and is advantageous for careers such as Law. It links very well with subjects such as History and Law, but can be studied alongside a wide range of other courses.
