Geology is ideal for students that have an interest in the structure and formation of the Earth and the dynamic processes which affect the world we live in. Course content may include earthquakes, the Earth’s structure, plate tectonics, geological structures, the rock cycle and processes that form sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rocks, water supply, energy resources and metallic mineral deposits. This course works well with Geography, as well as other science subjects.
