PT 14/16 MA in Public History

UPDATED 20140604 04:27:57

Public History is the study of the past in the present. Museums, documentaries, monuments, lectures, guided tours, and community events are just some of the things that constitute Public History. The MA in Public History will appeal to those interested in the role of history in contemporary society. Students consider the relationship between history and politics, debate the power of history in society, and evaluate the way in which history is presented to a non-specialist audience.
