If you like a challenge and want to combine outdoor adventure with an interest in working in the Public Services then this is the course for you. This one year course is right for you if you are considering a career in public services. The course will provide you with a good grounding in personal development, team working and leadership skills. There will be a strong emphasis in adventurous activities and you will develop your skills in a range of outdoor activities. You will enjoy a weekly activity day when you will gain skills in kayaking, canoeing, climbing, bushcraft, sailing, walking and navigation. The course will also include two weeks of camping and expedition skills in local National Parks such as North Wales and the Peak District.
