This course offers students the opportunity to study for a professional qualification which encompasses the design, horticultural and business management skills required for a career in garden design. Students are encouraged to develop a range of creative thinking and design skills to respond to a project brief in the creation of stimulating and innovative spaces for a range of users. The second year of study develops your professional skills in project and contract management and contemporary design. Computer Aided Design (CAD) and digital design technology is studied in our well equipped professional Design Studio. Knowledge of these subjects along with a focus on sustainable design solutions will equip you with professional skills and knowledge for a career as a garden designer or progression to landscape design and management.
