This qualification is designed to ensure that practising electricians are familiar with the use of the Institute of Electrical Engineer's Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment. The aim of this unit is to enable the candidate to undertake practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment to lelgislative requirements.
