Producing your own music CD, learning performance techniques, stagecraft and developing your musicianship...it£s all here in this practical and challenging two-year course, equivalent to three full A Levels. It£s an excellent choice if you want a successful career as a musician, or to work in the music business generally. Using the latest digital equipment in our state-of-the-art music and recording Studios, you£ll practise many styles of music, developing your performance skills in both ensembles and as a soloist. You will learn about song writing and composition, including film music, and about the music industry, including how to record and produce music in the recording studio. There are exciting opportunities to perform at a variety of events, build a portfolio and produce a music CD. You can choose optional units to specialise in DJ techniques, pop video production or vocal technique.
