BTEC Dip in Mechanical Engineering L3

This two-year day-release course is designed to enable learners to gain skills, knowledge and understanding in a range of mechanical engineering occupations including design, manufacture, maintenance and technical services. Units covered include engineering design for hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mathematics for technicians, mechanical principles and computer-aided design. Qualification is by completion of coursework and practical assignments and an engineering project. Learners may then progress to a Foundation Degree or BTEC Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
