This is an academic course which will enable you to focus on the dynamic nature of today’s business world and provide you with opportunities to investigate topical business issues. You will look at the challenges facing business start ups and the major functions of business to include people, operations, finance and marketing and the interaction between a business and its external environment.
Name: Business A2 Level (at Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College) Qualification title: Business A2 Level Qualification type: GCE A/AS Level or equivalent Assessment The AS-level consists of two papers which are taken in the first year. Students are examined with a mixture of multiple choice, short answer questions, data response questions and a case study. In the second year three papers are taken, again these are a mixture of multiple choice, short answer and data response questions and a case study.
