This course is ideal for the newcomer to photography, and for the student with some knowledge but who still finds some of the technical aspects of photography difficult to grasp and wishes to improve their creative awareness.

The assignment will comprise of one practical task and one knowledge-related task: Produce a folio of images - Written account Students are expected to keep a record of any note taking and ideas for images, and are required to keep all their work, handouts and personal research information. Two finished pieces of work are required at the end of the course; the lecturer, internal moderator and external moderator will undertake assessment of these.
