This level 1 qualification is aimed at learners wanting to take their first step towards a full Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification. It will provide the learner with the basic principles of assisting in leading an exercise session safely and effectively. The course will look at the basic structure and function of the human body in relation to exercise and fitness. It will provide an introduction to the role of the fitness instructor and also give an insight into the fitness industry and careers in fitness.
