This is an intensive course aimed at people seeking a first qualification in book-keeping and accounts within the context of a business environment or as an aid to an understanding of basic accounting . Candidates who are successful in the examination would be qualified to fulfil a junior role in an accounts office. As the course is designed for students who wish to obtain a qualification in book-keeping all students will be expected to enter for the examination.
