The IAB is the longest established professional body for Book-keeping. It was formed in 1973, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards in Book-keeping. It holds its examinations in over 90 countries throughout the world. This qualification takes what you have learnt at Level 1 and develops it into a full understanding of double entry book-keeping. The course is suited to those who are already working in a finance office and who want to capitalise on their experience. Candidates will gain an in-depth knowledge of business routines and how all types of cash and credit transactions are recorded in manual accounts. You will learn how to complete a basic VAT return and how to complete accounts to trial balance.
