Both the AS and the A2 courses cover: Pure Maths, Mechanics and Statistics. Both courses provide a suitable background for students aiming for careers in Science and Engineering, Business and Finance, and the Social Sciences. Employers feel that Mathematics A level gives evidence that a student is numerate and very able to problem-solve. These are much in demand in all types of occupations.
