A2 ECONOMICS

UPDATED 20131126 11:46:00

AS Economics will equip you with the analytical skills to understand what determines why you pay so much (or so little!) For goods in the shops; what can be done about problems such as traffic congestion in our cities and global warming; and what factors determine our standard of living. A2 Economics explores themes such as what motivates business leaders; why so many people live in desperate poverty in the Third World; and why the UK is so good at selling financial services to the rest of the world, yet so much of what we buy is made in countries such as China and India. Economics pass rates are very good and many of our students go on to study the subject at university. In recent years we have successfully placed students into such universities as, Oxford, Cambridge and University College London. Economics graduates are in great demand in business, in finance and by government and educational industries. Graduates in Economics are also among the highest paid of university leavers. Come and join us and open doors to rewarding and very well paid careers.
