Social Enterprise Kent offers an Intermediate Apprenticeship in Children and Young People’s Workforce, which will last a minimum of one year and one day when the apprentice works at least 30 hours per week in paid employment. This is a City and Guilds qualification that will provide the apprentice with knowledge of how to keep children safe, preparing and maintaining environments to support children’s needs and much more. The apprenticeship will include: a Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce at Level 2, and Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 1. The apprentice could train in a number of roles like: early years worker or assistant, care worker or assistant, assistant youth support or community worker.
